Religion - I will introduce Unit 5 to the class as we read and discuss pages 37 and 38, "We Are Called to Follow Jesus". We will also discuss how Jesus expressed his concern for people by relieving their sufferings.
Math - I will introduce chapter 4, Understanding Multiplication and Division. Complete the Am I Ready page 199. Review the vocabulary on page 201 and 202. Teach pages 207 to 210. Relating Multiplication and Divison. Homework on page 211 and 212.
Reading - I will introduce our next story, "Mighty Jackie" pages 166 to 181. We will review the vocabulary words on page 164 and 165. Then preview the story and Meet the Authoron page 166. Homework in the workbook on page 56.
Vocabulary- I will teach a mini-lesson on "Multiple-Meaning Words" as we complete page 33. Focus on words that have more than one meaning. Homework on pages 34 and 35. Review for tomorrow's test.
Social Studies - We will read and discuss pages 78 and 79 which explains how archaelogists use artifacts to learn about the past.
Science - We will review our Study Guide on Unit 1 in advance of Thursday's exam.

Religion - The children will explain the transforming effects of forgiveness as we read and discuss pages 41 to 44. Homewrok in Google Classroom to be returned to me.
Math -We will review the homework from pages 211 and 212 about how multiplcation and divison are related. Then I will teach pages 213 to 216 about how division and subtraction are related.Homework on pages 217 and 218.
Reading - We will review the workbook homework on Vocabulary from page 56. Then we will conduct a guided reading of our story, 'Mighty Jackie" on pages 166 to 181 focusing on Author's Purpose. Homework on page 57 on Author's Purpose.
Vocabulary - We will review the Unit 3 homework from pages 34 and 35, Vocabulary for Comprehension as we prepare for today's Unit 3 exam
Social Studies - The students will identify routes early people travelled to reach North America. Read and discuss pages 80 and 81.
Science- We will review the Study Guide on Unit 1 in advance of tomorrow's exam.
Music - 10 to 10:45.
Religion - We will review our homework from last night on chapter 5. Then we will read from oir Eucharist Book, pages 9 to 15, about the life of Saint Dominic Savio. The students will complete pages 16 and 17 for homework.
Math - We will review the workbook homework on Repeated Subtraction. Then I will teach pages 219 to 222 on Multiplication as Comparison. Homework will be on the same topic on pages 223 and 224.
Reading - We will review RPB homework from page 57 on Author's Purpose. Then we will read pages 184 and 185 on Lyric Poems with a piece entitled "The New Kid" as we focus on "meter". The students will have homework on the same topic in the RPB on page 61. The students will also have an exam on our story tomorrow, the story of Jackie Mitchell.
Vocabulary - We will review yeaterday's exam on Unit 3. Then I will introduce our new words from UNit 4 on pages 38 and 39 and then read the passage on pages 36 and 37 to see how these words are used in a story.
Social Studies - The students will read pages 82 and 83 and discuss the changing ways of life for the Native Americans. There will be a homework assignmnet on chapter 1 tocomplete and send back to me through Google Classroom.
Science - we will have our final review before our Unit 1 test this morning.
Gym - 10 to 10:45
Religion - We will continue ro read the Eucharist Book pages 21 to 25. Chapter 2 of this book is entitled "Gathering to Give Thanks and Praise" . The studentts will discuss how friends help eachother.
Math - We will review pages 223 and 224 on Multiplication to Comparsion. Then I will teach pages 225 to 228 on "Comparing to Solve". We will have a pop quiz on our multiplication and division concepts. Homework will be pages 229 and 230.
Reading - The students will review RPB page 57 on Lyrics. Then I will assign the exam on our story, "Mighty Jackie"
Vocabulary - I will discuss the synonyms and antonyms of Unit 4 from page 41.
Social Studies - The students will read and discuss pages 84 to 87 about the work of archeologists.
Science - The class will be taught a mini lesson on Symmetry and how it is used in Science as well as Math. Read and discuss pages 36 and 37.
