Religion - Introduce chapter 6, "Jesus Invites Us to Receive God's Mercy". We will discuss what the word "mercy" means. We will read and discuss pages 45 and 46. Homework will be on page 47.
Math - We will review the homework from pages 229 and 230 on Math as Comparison. Then the students will learns how multiplication and division are related on pages 233 to 236. Inaddition, we will touch on the Associative Property of Multiplication on pages 239 to 242. I am not as concerned with the memorizing of all the properties as I am with the students recognizing which operation to choose to a problem.Homework will be to finish pages 238, 243, and 244.
Reading - We will review the reading exam from Friday on Mighty Jackie. Then I will introduce our next story, "Wild Horses" as we preview pages 204 to 218. We will meet our vocabulary terms on pages 202 and 203. We will also meet the author on page 218. There will be homewrok in the RPB on page 74 on the vocabulary terms.
Vocabulary - We will continue to work on Unit 4 as we complete the exercise, "Complete the Sentence" on page 42. There will be a Sadlier Connect assignmnet on the same for homework.
Social Studies - I will introduce lesson 2 to the class as we meet the Algonquain people on pages 88 and 89. We will also define our vocab terms from page 88.
Science - I will introduce chapter 2, "Energy From Plants". We will define the vocab terms from pages 42 and 43. Then we will read and discuss pages 46 and 47, what are the characteristics of a plant?
Music - 12:15 to 12:50
Religion - We will review the homework from page 47. Then we will read and discuss pages 48 and 49 as the students will decribe the steps in celebrating the Sacrament of Reconcilation.
Math - We will review the homework from pages 238, 243, and 244 as we discuss the properties of multiplication. Then I will teach pages 245 to 248 on Factors and Multiples. Homework will be from Pages 249 and 250.
Reading - We will review the RPB homework from page 74 on the vocabulary. Then I will read aloud to the class the story "Wild Horses" on page 204 to 217 focusing on Cause and Effect. Homework will be on page 75 on the same topic.
Vocabulary - we will review the homework from Sadlier Connect on Synonyms and Antonyms. Then we will complete page 42, Complete the Sentence. There will be another homework assignmnet on Sadlier Connect.
Social Studies- the students will read and discuss pages 90 and 91 about the Algonquain way of life.
Science - We will read and discuss pages 48 and 49 about how plants make food.

Religion - The students will read and I will discuss pages 49 and 50. These pages explain that their consciusnesses enable them to distinguish good from evil.
Math - We will review the homework from pages 249 and 250 on Factors and Multiples. Then I will teach pages 251 to 254 on Problem Solving addressing how multiplication and divison are related. Homework will be on pages 255 and 256. Math chapter 4 test on Friday
Reading - We will review the RPB homework from page 75 on Cause and Effect. Then the students will conduct a "guided reading" of our story "wild Horese" focusing on Cause and Effect. Homework on page 77. Reading test on our story Wild Horseson Friday.
Vocabulary - We will review the Sadlier Connect homework on Synonmns and Antonyms. Then I will instruct a mini lesson on the topic of Word Families and related words on page 44. The students will have homework on page 43 in adavnce of tomorrow's test on Unit 4.
Social Studies - We will read pages 92 and 93 which included a biography on Christina Bryant who is Mative American who ueses puppets to tell old Indian stories.
Science- Review yesterday's assignment on Lesson1 . Then I will introduce lesson 2, "what are the parts of a plant? Specifically the role of leaves and stems on pages 50 and 51

Religion- read and discuss page 52 which is a mini biography Saint Peter Cleaver. Then the class will complete the review sheet on chapter 6.
Math - we will review pages 255 and 256 on Probllem Solving. We will then review chapter 4 in advance of Friday's chapter test. Homework will be to complete pages 258 and 259.
Reading - We will review the RPB homework from page 75. Then we will read the short passage on Pecos Bill and discuss hyperbole and metaphor, page to 220 to 223. Homework on the same topic on page 79.
Vocabulary - We will review the workbook homework from page 43 which was a review of our words.Then I w ill assign the Unit 4 exam to the class.
Social Studies - We will review the exam on lesson 2. Then I will introduce lesson "The Iroquois League" on page 94. We will define the vocab words from page 94.
Science - We will continue to read pages 50 and 51 about the diffent parts of a flower.
